About The Lodge At Greenway

A quaint gate lodge at the entrance to Agatha Christie’s much loved holiday home.

At the entrance to Greenway is The Lodge. This small, cosy holiday cottage boasts a private patio area as well as unprecedented access to the gardens of Agatha Christie’s beloved holiday home. Inside you’ll find a homely living room centred around a log burner and an elegantly designed bedroom with dark wooden floors.

You won’t have to go far to explore this beautiful area, the ferry linking Dittisham, Totnes and Dartmouth is just a short stroll from the cottage, and the walk there is spectacular.

As a guest of The Lodge you’ll benefit from free entry to nearby properties Coleton Fishacre, Compton Castle and Bradley Manor. Or if you had a walking adventure in mind, hop onto the South West Coast Path for hikes along Devon’s renowned English Riviera.

About the Acorn rating

We have applied a 1-5 acorn rating to each cottage to be used only as a guide that covers location, style of interior and facilities you may be looking for. The range runs from 1 Acorn at a more basic level such as Bird How which due to its stunning yet remote location doesn’t have a caretaker through to 5 Acorns at the highest level – such as Shute Barton.

Cottage pricing is not judged on the Acorn rating alone and as all our cottages are of an individual nature we recommend that all factors are considered when making your choice.
