About The Tack Room
On the edge of a beech woodland, this former storage barn on the Ebworth estate is full of character.Original stone walls, tiled floors and saddles from its past give this one-bedroom cottage lots of historic character, while modern furnishings provide a truly comfortable stay. You’ll pore over the décor in the bedroom, with its small arched windows, subtle floral prints and white-washed floors.
The Tack Room sits on the edge of a secluded beech woodland and is part of the Ebworth estate. It’s the perfect base from which to explore the best of the Cotswolds, with its steep valleys, limestone grassland and honey-coloured villages where time seems to stand still.
Head into the nearby village of Sheepscombe for a classic pub lunch or drive just 15 minutes’ to Stroud. Straddling the edge of the Cotswolds, the town is well-known for its eccentric, independent shops, wonderful cafes and restaurants, and historic mills.
