About Exmoor Coastpath, Bushcraft and SUPingA fantastic short-break, action packed experience of Exmoor.
A fantastic short-break experience exploring the stunning and diverse landscape of Exmoor National Park and the Holnicote Estate. The first day is spent working alongside the ranger team carrying out conservation work on the 20sq mile Holnicote Estate. This is followed by two days of non-stop coastal activities - walking the first section of the SWCP from the official start in Minehead to beautiful & picturesque Porlock Weir for ice-creams, a morning practising Bushcraft skills and an afternoon of fun and challenge Stand-Up Paddleboarding in Porlock Bay.
About the accommodation
A stone-built barn that was converted in the 1970s and is situated on the Watersmeet Estate on the North Devon coast. The bunkhouse provides a warm and comfy place to relax after a hard day’s work. There are two dormitories, a leader’s room and bathroom upstairs plus an additional bathroom downstairs. There is a pleasant garden with picnic benches and a barbecue. If you want to venture a little further, there is a delightful country pub a short walk away. The views of the coast and surrounding countryside are dramatic and spectacular.
Facilities: garden, drying room.
Bedding: pillow and base sheet provided.
Notes for guests
