About Footpaths and woodlandsHelp the rangers to maintain footpaths and improve woodland habitats in this quiet corner of Snowdonia.
Spend a couple of days helping to repair and renovate footpaths on the Meirionnydd properties. We'll be working in some of the most important woodlands in Europe for bryophytes and lichens, and on some of the National Trust's oldest properties. For the remainder of the week we move on to the Ysbyty Estate carrying out a variety of woodland tasks to improve habitats for wildlife, from woodland clearance and brashing to thinning out newly planted plots.
