About Heathland Restoration Project
Join the Ranger Team and help restore an area of Lowland Heathland.Rhododendron and small trees have taken over a lovely area of heathland on Cragside. We need your help to restore the heathland and protect this priority habitat for Nightjars, reptiles and amphibians. Using loppers and bow saws you will be cutting down the vegetation and having a bonfire too! The estate is a mixture of Northumberland countryside and North American Landscape so there’s plenty to enjoy during your stay.
