About Meadow and garden maintenance
Join the gardening team looking after the wildflowers and formal gardens. One hundred and fifty years ago Lord and Lady Armstrong created a fantasy landscape at Cragside, which is still enjoyed by many today. During the holiday we will be working on our wildflower areas and formal garden, looking to enhance not only the landscape but the wildlife too. Cragside is a rugged hillside landscape and a reasonable level of fitness is needed to enjoy this holiday to the full.
About the accommodation
The bunkhouse is a traditional conversion of two cottages formerly used for Victorian woodland workers. Located in Northumberland, just 12 miles from Alnwick and in the centre of the vast Cragside Estate. There are fabulous views overlooking Tumbleton Lake and surrounding hills.
