About Spring Clean

Preparing the woodland garden for spring.

Be part of our garden team sprucing up the walled and woodland gardens at Colby, and replacing steps in the garden and across the estate. You’ll be working alongside staff and other volunteers to tidy up any winter debris and maintain the footpath network through the woodland garden for springtime visitors.
Colby, in West Wales, is a haven for flora and fauna supporting a wide range of habitats including grassland, ponds and woodland, so keep your eyes peeled for voles, frogs, toads and more while you’re out and about. The various areas also mean that there will be a whole range of other estate and garden tasks available to keep things varied and interesting, meaning you’re sure to have a great time.
