About Wild coastal swimmingA unique wild swimming experience along the North Devon coast.
We are offering a unique opportunity to experience the North Devon coast and countryside whilst swimming. You will take part in four wild swims at different locations and, in between swims, you’ll help our rangers with various conservation tasks on the property such as tackling invasive species, dune management and beach cleaning. The sea swims will be fully supported by a safety team, in partnership with H2Outdoor. This holiday is suitable for confident swimmers who must be able to swim for at least 400 metres; experience of open-water swimming would be an advantage but is not essential.
About the accommodation
A stone-built barn that was converted in the 1970s and is situated on the Watersmeet Estate on the North Devon coast. The bunkhouse provides a warm and comfy place to relax after a hard day’s work. There are two dormitories, a leader’s room and bathroom upstairs plus an additional bathroom downstairs. There is a pleasant garden with picnic benches and a barbecue. If you want to venture a little further, there is a delightful country pub a short walk away. The views of the coast and surrounding countryside are dramatic and spectacular.
