About Wonder-walling

Learn traditional lime-mortar techniques and help us to rebuild the crumbling rose garden wall in Lodge Park woods.

Come and help us to restore the historic core of the Stackpole Estate by learning traditional lime-mortar techniques and helping us to rebuild the crumbling rose garden wall in Lodge Park woods. But it’s not all hard work – you’ll also be treated to a guided tour of this fantastic estate and its nature and history. After a hard day’s work look out for otters in the lily ponds or relax on one of our stunning beaches.

About the accommodation

This converted barn has been recently refurbished and offers large bunkhouse accommodation. There are two separate corridors of rooms upstairs, full kitchen facilities, a large communal eating area, games room with pool, table tennis and bathroom facilities downstairs.

Notes for guests

The weather can be highly changeable at this time of year so please bring suitable outdoor clothing. Steel toe-capped boots are recommended.
