We're inviting you to embark on Percy the Park Keeper's winter wander trail at Ightham Mote this winter. Join in the fun with Percy and his animal friends and give nature a helping hand from 4 December - 3 January.

From 4 December until 3 January, the ground floor of the house will be open and the library will be full of festive spirit dressed for a New England Christmas which would have been enjoyed by Mr Robinson. Journey back in time for a Victorian Christmas in the Great Hall too, well worth a visit to get you into the festive spirit or join our Percy the Park Keeper winter wander in the garden.

Kick start your festive shopping on 4 and 5 December with our mini market celebrating local producers. The shop is full of tempting treats too, a perfect place to find that special gift.

Winter walks 

Family walks around the estate are a great way enjoy the surrounding nature, there’s plenty of views to take your breath away, warm up with a hot chocolate in the café afterwards. Scathes wood walk is quick and easily accessible from the car park and is a family friendly walk, a great way to burn off the Christmas pudding. Join us for a Boxing Day or New Year's Day breakfast and walk, keep an eye on our events page for details.
