On yer bike - cycling exhibition

Over the summer Leith Hill Place has been home to a pop-up display about cycling featuring historic information, cycling memorabilia and family activities. Come and visit this August bank holiday weekend before the cycling exhibition closes to make way for our autumn exhibitions.

Working with local companies, this temporary exhibition explores the history of cycling in the Dorking and Leith Hill area and gives visitors a chance to share their experiences on cycling on the hill.

The main text from the exhibition, alongside a slideshow if images, was assembled by Dorking Museum, and has been reproduced with their kind permission.
