The shop for Lindisfarne Castle is in the village on Holy Island: it stocks a wide selection of local products, gifts, home ware, outdoor wear and food. The back garden is also open to offer a range of plants and garden gifts.
Situated on Marygate in Holy Island village, our shop has a wide range of products to suit all ages and tastes. The goodies to browse range from a selection of local books, to outdoor wear and equipment, to home accessories and kitchenware, including designs exclusive to the National Trust by artists Alex Clark and Fiona Howard, plus cothes, cards, and Holy Island and Lindisfarne Castle souvenirs. The back garden is also open to stock a large selection of plants and garden gear, along with surplus plants and vegetables from the Gertrude Jekyll garden at the Castle.
We have recently opened up our back garden so now can offer a large selection of plants and garden gear, along with surplus plants and vegetables from the Gertrude Jekyll garden at the Castle.
You can shop away in the rewarding knowledge that everything you purchase supports our work taking care of Lindisfarne Castle and the other special places we look after.
Lindisfarne Castle is in need of some major TLC. Which is not surprising when you consider the battering it takes from wind, rain and salt. The major conservation project now underway means that the castle is closed from 31 October 2016 to April 2018.
