The best place to find excellent British food is at a farmer’s market. This is where growers, bakers and all kinds of food and drink makers sell their produce direct to you. Here are some of our favourite farmer’s markets held at our places around the country.

‘Level’s Best’ farmers' market, Montacute, Somerset 

The lush, low-lying landscape of the Somerset Levels is well known for its food and drink. In particular, the cider, apple juice and cheese produced here are some of the best in the country.
