Head to one of the cosy tea-rooms for a meal or treat; or, if the sun's shining, why not enjoy your food in the orchard or borrow a picnic blanket and sit on the lawn? Afterwards, pick up a literary gem from the pre-loved bookshop to read on your journey home.

The Little Tea-Room

Fancy a bite to eat? Then head to the Little Tea-Room, which offers a variety of sandwiches, cakes, scones and soup. Enjoy your food in either the tea-room itself or the garden.

Mrs Dale's Tea-Room

This licensed, waited-service tea-room offers daily hot specials, seasonal soups, freshly made sandwiches, high-teas, delicious cakes and scones, and a great children's offer, along with a variety of hot and cold beverages.

The orchard

Enjoy your food and drink in natural surroundings by grabbing one of the seats in the orchard. If there aren't any available, just ask to borrow a picnic blanket.

Picnic on the lawn

The picnic tables on the lawn afford stunning views of the hall. Forgotten your flask? You can always pick up a hot drink in one of the tea-rooms.

Treat yourself to an ice cream

Snugburys ice cream is served all year round, with a range of flavours to choose from.

Most of the food and drink served is prepared on site in our kitchen, using a wide range of ingredients. As a result, we can’t guarantee that any of our food and drink products are completely allergen free.

To donate books, please email the team or drop them into the bookshop, which is located in the welcome building in the car park. Please only bring books in during opening hours.
