Christmas at Prior Park
Make the most of traditions old and new at Prior Park this winter. There's winter fun for everyone to get involved in, or simply peaceful frosty walks.
Prior Park is a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of city centre shopping and the commercialised side of the season.
Step into the landscape and take in extended views as the leafless trees offer a wider vista. The garden is stunning in any weather - be it fog, frost or even catching some wildlife in the rain.
A Georgian garden Christmas
Our Georgian garden Christmas will be a natural, peaceful and understated take on the festive season, highlighting the Georgian traditions that Ralph Allen and family may have enjoyed back in the 1700s. See events listing at the bottom of the page for more information.

Alight! - sold out
This Christmas we are working together with Sound UK to bring the garden to life after dark with light and sound. Alight! will show off the garden like never before, with a series of installations to discover. An opportunity to wrap up warm and explore with the whole family.
Wreath making workshops
For a creative pre-Christmas experience why not come along and make a Christmas wreath. Local florists Young Blooms will be on hand to offer tips and advise, and there will be refreshments to keep you going too.
General opening over the Christmas period
Over the Christmas period we are open on 23 and 24 December, then Boxing Day, 30 and 31 December and New Year's Day. Opening time are then back to weekends only until the start of February.
