Dressed for Christmas

From 24th November

Red House will be bedecked in its Christmas finery. Just as the Morris’s would have, the house will be hung with garlands of dried hops, lavender will scent the air, and a giant Christmas tree decorated with dried fruits and popcorn tinsel will welcome you as you enter the house. A traditional kissing bough hangs at the bottom of the stair, twisted with willow and ivy with sprigs of mistletoe at its centre.

Olde Father Christmas

Sat 25 & Sun 26 November

Green Father Christmas joins us once again to tell tales of Christmas past, bang his stick and shout ‘Wassail!’ Entertainment for young and old alike, children will be presented with a wooden gift at the end.
