Top the wombat needs your help. William Morris’s friend Rossetti has come to visit and brought along some animals from his menagerie but they have escaped. Can you help Top find all the animals in the Red House garden to claim your chocolate prize.

A wisdom of wombats are hidden in the most unlikely of places. Wander around Red House and learn all about the Pre-Raphaelites and their love of wombats. 

Help Top the wombat catch the animals that have escaped Rossetti’s menagerie or see what other wombats you can find hidden around the house in our wombat trail.

William Morris and the Pre-Raphaelites loved wombats. Morris’ good friend Dante Gabriel Rossetti even kept two as pets. His most beloved wombat Top, used to be allowed to nap on the dining table during meals.

Wombats have made their way into lots of drawings and paintings done by the Pre-Raphaelites including some at Red House.
