'If I Can', storytelling experience at Red House

'If I Can' at Red House, Bexleyheath

Join us on the 10th and 24th October to experience Red House in a different way with an exclusive audio experience.

With the house closed to the public explore the ghostly quiet rooms while listening to the haunting story of the house and its occupants, brought together by immersive theatre company Palimpsest.

Atmospheric, ghostly and unspeakably sad, 'If I Can' is a narrative poem, fusing the poetry and prose of those Pre-Raphaelites that built and embellished Red House.

" I can see the tall figure of a girl standing alone in the porch to receive us"
- Georgiana Burne-Jones

Through modern technology listen as the tales of William and Janey intertwine with Edward and Georgie Burne-Jones, Lizzie Siddal and Dante Gabriel Rossetti, following the highs and lows of life at Red House in the 1860s.

After exploring the house you will be taken to William Morris' original kitchen for refreshments and a light lunch.

Tickets are limited for this exclusive event and pre-booking is essential. To book visit our what's on pages.
