Staying safe

To help keep everyone safe, please follow signs which explain any changes to how you can access different parts of the site. Bulls may be present in the fields- please keep dogs on tight control in these areas.

Some paths can become very muddy during the winter months. Please wear sturdy shoes and bring outdoor clothing with you.

Facilities

The Magna Carta tea-room is open daily serving hot and cold drinks and snacks and food. Check our opening times for details.

Baby-changing facilities are available in the mens and womens toilets by the Memorial Car Park

Fishing and mooring

Seasonal fishing and mooring permits can be purchased using a card from the Estate Office in North Lodge. Fishing and mooring spots may be affected by building works on the river path during July 2022. Please check back for further details nearer the time.

Dogs

Dogs are welcome, but please keep them on leads when livestock are grazing.

Countryside Code

Please help us by taking your litter home with you; BBQs are not permitted at our sites. Please close gates behind you - some of our places are home to livestock, which whilst friendly, may want to wander.
