Visiting Runnymede: what you need to know
Runnymede remains open for local visits at this time. We advise visitors to follow Government guidance on travel.
We have now reopened the car park. Spaces are allocated on a first come first served basis. We ask that non members pay for parking using pay-by-phone if possible to avoid the use of cash.
Last entry to the car park is at 5pm and it will be locked at 6pm.
To help keep everyone safe, please follow social distancing and government guidance when you visit. And look out for signs while you’re here which will explain any changes to how you can access different parts of the site.
If you’re showing any of the symptoms of coronavirus, or if you've been in contact with anyone that has the virus in the last 14 days, please don’t visit.
The toilets are open and are being cleaned regularly. The Magna Carta tea-room has now reopened on weekends only, serving takeaway hot and cold drinks and snacks
Fishing and mooring
Seasonal fishing and mooring permits can be purchased using a card from the Estate Office in North Lodge.
Dogs welcome but please keep them on leads when livestock are grazing.
Do I need to book?
Our car park is now open. You don’t need to book but we have limited spaces. If the car park is full please come back another time.
