Winter walks at Runnymede

When the days are shorter and the weather turns frosty, there's nothing quite like a wintry walk to refresh your senses. Don't forget to bring your wellies or boots as some of the paths may be very muddy.
Planning your visit
The Memorials car park is open 363 days each year, closing only on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. The toilets are open and are being cleaned regularly. The Magna Carta tea-room remains closed at this time.
Winter wreaths
5 December - 10 January
To get us all into the spirit of Christmas we will be hiding six wreaths around the lodges and monuments. Each one is different and connected in some way to our beautiful countryside property – how many can you find? Share your photos on our social media pages -we'd love to see them!
Fishing and mooring
Seasonal fishing and mooring permits can be purchased using a card from the Estate Office in North Lodge.

Visiting with your dog
We welcome well behaved dogs year-round. Explore our ancient woodlands, wide meadows and river side habitats with your trusty four legged friend. Please keep them on a short lead, particularly near livestock.
