Winter walks at Runnymede

When the days are shorter and the weather turns frosty, there's nothing quite like a wintry walk to refresh your senses. Don't forget to bring your wellies or boots as some of the paths may be very muddy.

Visiting Runnymede and Ankerwycke with your dog
We welcome well-behaved dogs and their owners to explore Runnymede and Ankerwycke at any time of year. You can help look after the beautiful countryside here by keeping your dog in sight and under control at all times. As a sign of respect, when around the memorials please keep any dogs on a short lead.

We welcome well behaved dogs year-round. Explore our ancient woodlands, wide meadows and river side habitats with your trusty four legged friend.
