Volunteer at Runnymede and Ankerwycke
Are you looking for something new to fill your time? Do you love the countryside, or want an excuse to spend more time outdoors? We're always looking for enthusiastic, friendly folks to help us look after the historic hills of Runnymede and Ankerwycke.
There are lots of ways to get involved as a volunteer at Runnymede and Ankerwycke. Here's a selection of some of the roles available.
The precious habitats at Runnymede and Ankerwycke are looked after by our two rangers, Jamie and Laura. They rely on a team of volunteer rangers to help them with the huge variety of tasks needed to keep our slice of the countryside healthy and beautiful.
There's no welcome kiosk at Runnymede, so our volunteer welcome assistants help us do the important job of making sure visitors feel welcome and informed when they arrive.
The Magna Carta tea-room sits within the South Lodge, a lovely listed building designed by Edward Lutyens. It's a popular spot for a cream tea or a piece of cake, and a warm, friendly place to spend a few hours a week volunteering for the National Trust.
Call us on 01784 432891 to find out more, or click the button below and type in "Runnymede" to browse our current volunteer roles. We'd love to hear from you.
