Easter egg hunt at Souter Lighthouse

This spring, treat your little ones to a world of adventures at Souter on the Easter adventures in nature trails. Make your way along the trail, finding nature-inspired activities for the whole family.
Easter adventures in nature
Friday 15 - Monday 18 April (whilst stocks last), 11am-4pm.
This Easter at Souter, follow a trail full of inspiring nature adventures. Use your senses as you explore the coastal park, discovering 10 fun activities to do as you go.
There's no need to book. Start at the National Trust van in the main car park. Once you've completed the trail, head back to claim a Rainforest Alliance chocolate egg (or allergen free alternative).
£3 per trail
Suitable for children aged 4-11, must be accompanied by an adult.
The trail follows hard surfaced paths, suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs.
Seashore safari
Continue your adventures by joining us to search the rockpools along Souter's shore for salty sea creatures galore. Tuesday 19 April, 11.30 - 1pm and Thursday 21 April, 12.30 - 2.30pm. Find full details here.
Souter sports
You’ll find outdoor games and mini-sports activities for all the family in the Foghorn Field on Monday 11, Wednesday 13, Tuesday 19 and Wednesday 20 April, including football, badminton and archery. Anyone new to the activities can pick up helpful hints from our Active Outdoors team. Free.
If you’ve still got energy to spare, you could do a lap of our Active Mile course around Whitburn Coastal Park. Start at the information board near the main car park, then follow way markers to find instructions for a different exercise at each spot.
