Christmas at Sunnycroft

Escape the bustle of Christmas with a visit to Sunnycroft, an oasis in the middle of Suburbia. Put yourself in the festive spirit with our Wreath Making Workshops or soak up the atmosphere of Sunnycroft decorated for Christmas.

Step inside the front door of Sunnycroft and let Christmas surround you. From your first glimpse of the tree in the Staircase Hall to the sound of choirs drifting through the rooms we offer a chance to relax and get in the festive spirit.

The season starts at Sunnycroft with Wreath Making Workshops on Friday 4th and Saturday 5th December (£30 including refreshments, booking essential). This is the perfect opportunity to make your own Christmas Wreath to hang on your door, made from foliage cut by your own hand in the Sunnycroft Garden.

During the following week the Sunnycroft staff and volunteers get to work getting everything ready. Trees are put up and decorated, garlands are made by the garden team and decorations are placed around the house. We then throw open our doors on Friday 11th December for all to soak up the Christmas atmosphere.

Sunnycroft decorated for Christmas is a magical experience. The perfect antidote to the bustle of Christmas shopping. There are choirs singing, trees twiknling and our friendly team of volunteers ready to greet you. Walk through the doors and relax, enjoy the sights and sounds of a homely Christmas. Follow it up with a bowl of soup or a mince pie in our tea-room where you can sit in front of the fire and soak up its warmth.

At Sunnycroft, our Christmas has it all. A chance to relax, a chance to get into the festive spirit and a chance to get ideas for your own Christmas decorations.
