Plot to plate workshops at Sutton House

Children working in Breaker's Yard

Find out how our food has changed over the years at Sutton House. Where does it now come from and how do the things we eat affect our environment?

What does a plot to plate workshop cover?

KS2 Curriculum Area: Science: Plants, Geography: Human impact on nature.

In this workshop children will map the journey of food items, explore food miles and carbon footprints, identify plant types and structures in the Breaker’s Yard and plant their own easy-to-care-for plant to take home.
