What does a plot to plate workshop cover?
Curriculum Areas: Science: Plants, Geography: Human impact on nature.
In this workshop children will map the journey of food items, explore food miles and carbon footprints, whilst reflecting on how our food habits differ from those in the past, and the impact this has on the enviroment.
We can cater for one class of up to 30 Students at a time.
Workshops are usually 10:00am -11:30pm or 1:00pm-2:30pm, however we can work around your timetable.
No bus parking on site, the nearest station is Hackney Central and buses stop nearby.
Lunch can be eaten on site, and children can play in the Breaker's Yard during their break.
