Sutton House Music Society

Harpsicord in Georgian Parlour

Sutton House Music Society was formed as a direct result of the "Save Sutton House Campaign" which ran in the 1990s and campaigned for Sutton House to be open to the community.

It is a charity dedicated to bringing classical music to Homerton and Stoke Newington and they have hosted music concerts at Sutton House for the last 30 years. Sutton House Music Society musicians include first-class established international artists as well as rising young stars, playing a variety of classical music.

Penelope Roskell is the Artistic Director of the Sutton House Music Society and is equally renowned as a concert pianist, Professor of Piano at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, and author of The Complete Pianist .
