The Argory Lime Tree Walk
Walk along an avenue of pollarded lime trees, discover a wildflower meadow and pass the Argory oak plantation on this gentle trail with views of the 19th-century house to enjoy.

Step 1
From the car park near reception and The Argory courtyard, follow the path towards the stone pavilion building with the narrow windows.
Step 2
Join the path at the pavilion with the river on your right and the ha-ha wall on your left. Stay on this path and within 5 minutes you will be under the canopy of lime trees. In spring you will also be surrounded by a carpet of snowdrops.
Step 3
At the end of the lime trees you can go past the Meadow cottage on the right and see the wildflower meadow throughout the season.
Step 4
At this point you can walk up the avenue back to the house and see The Argory in all its glory. Alternatively join Lady Bond's Walk, which is to the right.

Follow the River Blackwater on this circular walk around the estate, and cross it on Bond's Bridge, with the chance to spot kingfishers.
