Your wedding at Tintinhull Garden
Tintinhull Garden is a place of floral beauty and tranquility. The gardens offer a romantic and truly unique setting in which to hold your civil ceremony. Tintinhull Garden is a Grade I listed property owned and run by the National Trust, which is a Registered Charity. All proceeds raised from weddings are spent on conservation, maintenance and upkeep of the property. The garden is open to the public everyday between 24 March and 4 November 2018.
The Summer House
Situated in the picturesque Pool Garden and surrounded by a beautiful variety of mixed flower borders, the Summer House is an intimate outdoor setting for a party of up to thirty people.
The Garden Room
Tintinhull Garden surrounds an elegant 17th century manor house built from local Ham Hill stone. The Garden Room inside the house can also accommodate civil ceremonies for a party of up to thirty people.
Unfortunately, there are no facilities to hold reception parties. However, drinks can be served after the ceremony.
You can stay
Part of Tintinhull House has been used to create a four bedroom holiday property which retains much of its original features, such as leaded windows. The kitchen is dominated by a huge Aga and an open fire is the centre piece of the sitting room.
The holiday cottage has four bedrooms – two doubles and two twins. The main double bedroom has stunning views over the main garden and an antique brass half tester 5' bed. The other double bedroom also has views over the gardens and an antique mahogany inlaid 5' bed. There are two bathrooms, both with original roll-top baths.
If you would like to hire the holiday cottage for a week, you can book it a year in advance. Alternatively, you can book for a long weekend six months in advance if there is still availability. Please visit the National Trust Holidays website for more information.
