Tulip mania: watercolour workshops
Create your very own watercolour of tulips under the guidance of local artist Kate Bates. The workshop will be outdoors in the beautiful garden at Dyrham Park surrounded by tulips. Seating will be provided plus all materials.

Kate Bates is based in the village of Dyrham and creates artworks based on a botanical theme, which are inspired by her natural surroundings and love of colour. During the workshop, participants will sketch tulips from direct observation in the garden and then work into them with watercolour and pen to create a final composition to take home. An undercover plan will be ready in case of wet weather. The workshops are aimed at adults and must be booked.

A volunteer guide will lead you around the 270 acres of parkland to learn more about the site's deer herd, history, archaeology, management and significance. At 10.30am and 1.30pm on selected days.

Join a tour guide to discover Dyrham village in the summer of 1704. Learn about how the village was connected to the estate and interesting facts about the villagers at that time. Please be aware that this walk has a limited number of places....
Hidden water walk
Join a guide for a special tour to find out about the natural springs and hidden water chambers in the hillside to the mysterious underground well and stone structure by the lake to track the 'curious water works' of Dyrham Park.
