Prior Park takes part once again in the Festival of Archaeology, with walks and information on previous digs and projects.
Information will be on display about previous digs in the Pasture, as will old finds from previous projects, including the dams project. On selected dates, a volunteer will be available to answer questions and discuss findings.
You will be able to view a timeline of the last 33 years, since the National Trust acquired Prior Park, outlining its restoration and changes over the years.
Walk the site and find interpretation on different areas of importance, such as the Bath House.
There are also two pre-bookable guided walks with the lead archaeologist from previous digs, available to book on the walks' event page (22 & 28 July).
