Join us at Tyntesfield as we celebrate the Festival of Archaeology.
Visitors will: learn about the dig that took place in 2013, piece together our floor tile jigsaw puzzle, find out about the lost conservatory, try your hand at some archaeology skills, and reconstruct a terracotta lion that was found under the conservatory in 2013.
*There will be an opportunity for visitors to handle collection items (subject to volunteer availability), and a trail for exploring the archaeological sites of importance across the estate.

- Meeting point
Collect a map exploring the archaeological sites of relevance from the Welcome building and head down to the House to find out more about the conservatory dig in 2013.
- What to bring and wear
Please dress appropriately for the weather. Layers and sturdy shoes are advisable.

The event takes place along a step free trail.
