Join a member of the Ranger Team on a mission to find the fabulous fungi that are springing up this Autumn!

This is a great time of year to spot fungi, particularly if the weather has recently been wet. What's the difference between a mushroom and a fungus? What role do they play in a nature reserve like Wicken Fen?

Meeting point

Check in at the Visitor Centre a few minutes before the start of the event.

What to bring and wear

Wear clothing suitable for the weather, including stout footwear (walking boots/wellies); if you have binoculars bring them along

Accessibility

Assistance dogs are welcome.

Free guided walk, but normal admission applies to non-members, along with £3.20 car parking fee. Spaces are limited so booking is advisable.
