This summer, Wicken Fen will be staying open late every Thursday in June, July and August. There will be evening boat trips, a programme of walks and talks, and the Docky Hut cafe are offering an evening menu.

Evening boat trips

Take a relaxing evening boat trip, a perfect way to enjoy the Fen at this most wonderful time of day.

Boat trips will be running at 4.30pm and 6pm, depending on the weather, as well as our standard daily trips.

Call the visitor centre on 01353 720274 to book - more information on the boat, including prices, here.

Shop, centre and reserve

The gift shop, visitor centre and nature reserve will be open until 8.00pm for evening browsing and wildlife-watching.

This is a great opportunity to enjoy the 'Listen to the Voices of the Fen' sound trail (open from 18 June - 28 September).
