Shades of Simon” will be presenting their highly acclaimed 2 hour theatre style show "The Paul Simon Story" in tribute to Paul Simon as one of the best songwriters and performers of his generation at the National Trust's Wimpole Hall in July 2024.
With an engaging narration, exceptional musicianship from the 5-piece band, and authentic renditions of the best of his songs from his time in Simon & Garfunkel in the 60's through to his Graceland tour in the 1980's, this is a show that appeals to all generations.
The performance will include early Simon & Garfunkel hits that have endured the test of time like Homeward Bound, The Sound of Silence, Mrs Robinson and Bridge Over Troubled Water, through to the infectious South African rhythms of Paul Simon’s Graceland tour and his biggest solo success, You Can Call Me Al.
