Join us at The Whitworth Art Gallery for the finale event of Bloomtown 2026 on Sunday 31 May.
Celebrate the season of Spring through art, music and movement in the Art Garden. From 11am–3pm there will be free drop-in activities for all ages including badge making and jewellery making, willow weaving, and drumming with Youth Elements.
Discover live performances throughout the garden including storytelling with Gav Cross at 11.30am, 12.30pm, 1.30pm and 2.30pm, and choir performances throughout the afternoon.
Bee Pedal Ready are throwing a Pedal Party! Bring your bike or borrow one for free to decorate with blossom and ride around Whitworth Park.
Pick up a Bloomtown Map to explore over 55 blossom hotspots across Greater Manchester and 20 ways to connect with nature this Spring.
2026 is National Year of Reading, so we've partnered with Read Manchester and Nosy Crow to give out free books and bookmarks at this event.
Drinks and snacks will be on sale at a pop-up stand by the Parkside entrance - including a special blossom-themed snack for the day!
