Hare Hill is welcoming visitors for free as part of Heritage Open Day. Take a walk around the garden, try spotting birds from the bird hide, or bring a picnic to enjoy in the peaceful walled garden.

Please head to the Welcome Building in the car park. Our team will help you make the most of your day out.
- What to bring and wear
Wear footwear suitable for walking in the outdoors. Come prepared for the weather on the day.
- Accessibility
Blue Badge parking. Accessible toilet. Step-free route around garden with level paths. Manual wheelchair and powered mobility Tramper vehicle available to borrow. There are some steps within the garden but a level access route is available. Only assistance dogs are permitted in the walled and wooded garden.
- Other
There is no cafe or tea-room at Hare Hill but we sell hot and cold drinks to go and light snacks from the Welcome Building. If bringing a picnic please take all litter home with you. Please leave all footballs, frisbees and scooters at home - thank you for helping us to look after the historical gardens and parklands. Car park and gate to permissive path locked promptly at 5pm.
