With festive lighting and illuminated walkways, wander through the Upper Garden on an Enchanted Winter Walk. Keep an eye out for Mrs Claus preparing the sleigh for Christmas Eve, and little ones, don’t forget to pick up your reindeer food ready for the big day.
The experience will take approximately 30 minutes and includes a wander through the gardens, some time with Mrs Claus and a warming drink.
Adult tickets include entry and a hot drink. Children’s tickets include entry, reindeer food and a child-sized hot drink. From 28 to 31 December, children will receive a New Year’s party treat instead of reindeer food.
Suitable for all ages. Babies under 12 months go free.
National Trust admission charges do not apply. Both National Trust members and non-members will need to purchase a ticket for this event.
Please ensure your party size and availability are correct at the time of booking, as we strictly do not offer refunds or transfers, unless we have to cancel the event.
Carer tickets can only be redeemed alongside paid-for ticket(s).

This is an outdoor event in the Upper Garden. Please make sure you wrap up warm and be prepared for all weather.

• This is an outdoor event, so please dress appropriately for the weather. • Strictly no transfers. Refunds will only be given if we cancel the event. • Well behaved dogs on a short lead are welcome. • For those who require an accessible visit, the entire event takes place on flat accessible paths. • Parking is free of charge. • On arrival please make your way to the Visitor Reception building near the carpark where your tickets will be checked and you will be issued with a token for your free hot drinks. Please don’t arrive more than 10 minutes before your time slot. • The festive hot drink selection that each ticket holder can choose from are - a standard size luxury hot chocolate, latte, cappuccino, tea, Americano. We offer oat and soy as a milk alternative. A selection of alternative hot and cold drinks and food will be available to purchase. • Please note this event does include some flashing lights.
