Threads of the past: Behind the scenes at the Quarry Bank archive
Step behind the seams of Quarry Bank’s textile collection
- Booking essential
Join us for a rare opportunity to explore highlights from Quarry Bank’s remarkable textile collection. Many of the items you'll see are usually kept carefully in storage.
During the tour, you'll discover how we care for these historic textiles—how they’re packed, monitored for signs of wear or pests, and preserved for future generations. Along the way, uncover some of the fascinating stories behind the collection and the people connected to it.
Please note: Admission charges do not apply for this event, but all visitors—National Trust members and non-members alike—will need to purchase a ticket in advance.
