Discover what it was like to be a medieval archer and learn about the famous English longbow, one of the most important weapons of the Middle Ages. With expert, child‑friendly instruction, young archers will find out how longbows were used in the past and have a go at shooting for themselves in a safe, supervised outdoor setting.
This hands‑on session is designed to build skills, confidence, and curiosity about history while having fun. The event is intended for children aged 8 years and above - this should be strictly observed for health and safety reasons. Children must be accompanied by an adult for this event - your ticket fee applies to entry for one child and one adult. Please come dressed for the outdoors.
