This workshop will allow you absorb the site’s unique atmosphere, whilst engaging with the physical, emotional and mental benefits of Iyengar Yoga. Led by our expert local partners, Cheshire Yoga, the class will concentrate on alignment and body awareness. Each of the poses will be demonstrated by the teacher initially and the use of yoga props will enable all participants to gain the benefits of the poses. The class will be comfortably paced and fully supervised. Continue your wellbeing journey after the class with access to the parkland included within the ticket price – our team will happily recommend some walks and beauty spots. Participants are also welcome to use the site for a picnic after their session. Please note that the Old Hall does not have food/drink facilities, so bring your own picnic – a hot drink will be available on arrival. Our classes are suitable for everyone (aged 14 years and above), whether a total beginner or a more experienced yogi. Our teachers are Jill Johnson (Senior Level 3 & Therapy Teacher) and Andrea Haywood (Level 2 Teacher) of Cheshire Yoga; a yoga studio in Altrincham specialising in Iyengar Yoga. Please note that you will be required to complete a short medical questionnaire on arrival. Please bring your own mat if you have one, but supplies are available to borrow. Please note that in the case of inclement weather, the class will be moved to an indoor location.
