On a perilous journey from Yorvik, the Viking capital of Northumbria, to the old Roman fortress of Deva, Harald and his followers have made camp on their way to meet the powerful Warrior Queen of Mercia, Æthelflæd, daughter of Alfred the Great. Through an engaging workshop and a series of hands‑on activities, you will discover Viking beliefs, skills, and daily life in the atmospheric surroundings of Tatton Park’s Old Hall. Are you brave enough to join the Vikings?
