Summer of Play at Cotehele

The Edgcumbe family used Cotehele as their summer retreat, now it's your turn. Head to Cotehele this summer for a summer jam-packed with play.

  • Booking not needed
  • Free event (admission applies)

Join us all summer long at Cotehele for a summer jam-packed with play!

Find pockets of play as you explore the garden and orchards at Cotehele.

Whether you want to put on a show at the Mother Orchard Theatre, paint a portrait or get active on your hobby-horse, play like a Georgian family in Cotehele's gardens and orchards.

Embrace the outdoors while seeking shade under beautiful apple trees and frolic down paths of cut meadow-grass.

You can also picnic across the Cotehele estate, just be sure not to leave a trace behind.

Let's have a summer to remember in the Tamar Valley!

Summer of Play is sponsored by Starling Bank.
