Second-hand books

A recent addition to Penrose is the second-hand book nook, located at the inside café seating area.

The bookshop is stocked with a variety of pre-loved fiction and non-fiction books, including children’s collections, cookery, gardening and biographies. When you purchase a book, you help us raise funds for the ongoing care of the walled garden behind the café.

Limited storage means we can only accept small quantities but donations of quality books, especially paperback fiction & children’s books are most welcome. Please call ahead on 01326 222170 or email if you have books you would like to donate.
