Family scrub bashing day at Pentire
Why not enjoy spending time outside this half-term. Join us for a family-friendly day, helping the local rangers tackle overgrown scrub near Lundy Bay.

By cutting back gorse and blackthorn to make a bonfire, you’ll be improving the habitat for the wildlife living there. There will even be marshmallows to toast.

Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
- Meeting point
Meet at Lundy Bay car park to walk halfway down the valley.
- What to bring and wear
Please wear clothing suitable for the weather, working in thorns and brambles and that you don’t mind getting smoky/muddy, as well as sturdy boots or wellies. Please bring a packed lunch and water.
- Accessibility
The area is along naturally surfaced paths. There are slopes and uneven ground. It is approx. 1km walk from the car park.
