St Anthony Battery unearthed 2024

Hidden under tons of earth for decades, the battery at St Anthony Head was pretty forgotten. Now it is opened up again you can come and find out about the history of the place, going back through different threats of invasion up to when it was finally decommissioned. Tours at 11am and 1.30pm (£5 suggested donation on the day for tours and free access to the outer battery area). Suitable for people of all ages.

Tour dates to book in 2024 (two tours each day from 11:00 – 12:30 and 13:30 – 15:00): • Sunday 7 July • Sunday 4 August
