Remembrance Display at Buckland Abbey
This November a beautiful sea of poppies will take over a display in the Great Barn.
- Booking not needed
- Free event (admission applies)
These poppies have been hand crafted by Buckland Abbey volunteers in honour of Remembrance Weekend.
Accompanied by atmospheric poems and instrumental music, visitors will be invited to craft their own poppy to add to the display, honouring those who have died in wars around the world. A small exhibition curated by the Buckland Abbey volunteers will also be displayed, showing their family heirlooms from the World Wars and sharing their family stories.
