Volunteering Drop-in Morning
Come and find out more about the different volunteering roles at Buckland Abbey.
- Booking not needed
- Free event
Volunteering is a great opportunity to meet new people and become part of a welcoming and passionate team, whether you’re out in the fresh air, submerged in history or a friendly face to welcome visitors.
The day will start at 10:15am with a chance to get a hot drink. You'll then be given an overview of volunteering with us by our Volunteer and Community Officer, followed by an opportunity to speak to volunteers who do various roles. At 11am there will be an opportunity for anyone who wants to, to have a short tour of the Abbey and Barn.
There are a huge range of volunteering roles that keep Buckland Abbey going, from bringing history to life in the Abbey, driving our buggy, giving tours to schools and looking after our shop and more.
You can let us know you're coming along and ask any questions you may have by calling 01822 853607 or emailing bucklandabbeyvolunteering@nationaltrust.org.uk
