Learn the Charleston at Coleton Fishacre
We're stepping back to the Roaring Twenties this Christmas, so why not pop on your dancing shoes and join a Charleston class in the house?
- Booking not needed
- Free event (admission applies)
Erica and Cliff, dance teachers from local group 'Swingout Swingdance' will be on hand to demonstrate how to dance the Charleston.
Join them in the Saloon at their drop in dance class on selected dates and learn all about the steps, rhythm and beat of the Charleston. They'll be showing the steps and inviting you to give it a go throughout the day.
An accessible and inclusive dance, it's suitable for all ages, with easy to master moves which can be danced solo or with a partner.
So why not soak up the spirit of the Jazz era and get ready for the festive season as the house is trimmed for a Roaring Twenties party.
