Step back in time to May 1926 when Coleton Fishacre was finally finished and the family welcomed their first guests for a long weekend.
Erica, a dance teacher from local group 'Swingout Swingdance' will be leading a pop dance class, teaching how to dance the Charleston.
Join in the fun in the Saloon at the drop in dance class and learn all about the rhythm and beat of the Charleston. They'll be showing the steps and inviting you to give it a go throughout the day. An accessible and inclusive dance, it's suitable for all ages, with easy to master moves which can be danced solo or with a partner.

The dance class will take place in the Saloon, on the ground floor of the house.

Feel free to come dressed for the occasion, but we advise no stiletto heels due to the original flooring in the Saloon.

This activity takes place on the ground floor of the house. There is a set of stairs leading down into the room.
