Drop in Volunteering: Sealife Survey at Heddon's Mouth
Join us at Heddon’s Mouth with your binoculars for our 100 mile-long sealife survey for the Sea Watch Foundation. This event is part of a series of surveys taking place along the North Devon and Exmoor coast.
- Booking not needed
- Free event (admission applies)
The rangers will provide everything you need to record your sightings, although we advise bringing comfortable outdoor shoes, your own binoculars if you have them and something to sit on.
We’ll be down at the beach to see which Sealife we can spot, and recording it as part of a series of surveys taking place along the North Devon and Exmoor Coast.
This event takes place during the National Whale and Dolphin Watch run by the Sea Life Foundation. Watches and surveys are taking place across the country to create a ‘snapshot’ view of what can be seen in our UK coastal waters.
It’s also a great chance to talk to the rangers about the different types of volunteering we offer, including accessible and remote roles.
