A small exhibition to share what we know of the personal, social and spiritual concerns that connected the first Black Anglican Bishop, Samuel Ajayi Crowther (c. 1809 – 31 December 1891) and Sir Thomas Dyke Acland, 10th Baronet (1787-1871).
Head to Visitor Reception for entry ticket. Normal admission fees apply.

This exhibition is housed in Killerton's Grade 1 listed Chapel. Killerton Chapel is approximately 250m uphill from the visitor reception. Unfortunately this building is not wheelchair accessible. However, a large print copy of the exhibition, a braille guide and a virtual tour of the Chapel can be viewed inside Killerton house.

Park in the main Killerton Visitor car park. Head to Killerton Visitor Reception to access the house, gardens, chapel and parkland.
- What to bring and wear
The garden at Killerton is set on a hillside, please wear suitable shoes and dress for the weather.
- Accessibility
Golf Buggies are available to transport visitors to the Chapel 11am-3.30pm There are two steps and a narrow doorway into Killerton's grade 1 listed Chapel. The exhibition panels can also be viewed in a folder of images on a sofa in Killerton mansion. The surface of the Stables Courtyard where visitor reception, bookshop, plant sales, shop and cafe are located, is cobbled.
